Find Your Flow Yoga Challenge

Sept. 11-22

Take on this beginner-friendly two-week challenge to discover which style of yoga feels good to you. Follow the provided calendar to try a variety of yoga practices on your own, while boosting your physical and mental health. You’ll have the opportunity to try seated, standing and floor yoga. At the end of the challenge, complete the submission form for a chance to win one of three prizes! Whole Grains Trivia

Thursday, Sept. 28 from 12-12:30 p.m. CT

September is Whole Grains Month! Test your whole grains knowledge in this live trivia game led by Wellness Coordinator Morgan Blake. The top three winners will be awarded a prize! Cholesterol 101 (Presented by ActiveHealth)

Did you know that high cholesterol levels raise your risk for heart disease? It’s true. If your levels are high, your risk could be twice as high as people with ideal levels. In this session you’ll learn ways to lower your risk.

Do planks and give thanks! Gradually build your core strength and stability by completing planks for an allotted amount of time provided on the challenge tracker. How to do a Plank

The plank is a great exercise to strengthen your core muscles. Join this session to learn how to do traditional, forearm and wall planks, along with modifications to help you prevent injuries while strengthening your core muscles.
