How to Simplify Your Life

Thursday, July 14 at 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. CST

What to expect: Participants will learn to identify personal barriers to living life simply through examining their inner beliefs. Program highlights also include examinations of inner pressures and how excuse-making helps people avoid change. Participants will:

• Define values and beliefs

• Identify methods for decluttering

• Explore streamlining chores and commitments

• Discuss the importance of supportive relationships

• Write a personal action plan for how to simplify life

Mindfulness Break

Thursday, July 15 at 1-1:15 p.m. EST

What to Expect: Regional Wellness Coordinator Morgan will be leading mindfulness practices that you can take with you throughout your day and life. This will be a chance to relax and learn techniques for becoming more mindful. No equipment needed!

This class is brought to you by volunteer Certified Yoga Teachers and State employees in partnership with Working for a Healthier TN. Each class will be led by a different yoga instructor: Denise Galben (DHS), Kristina Giard-Bradford (TDH), Lara Gill (TDH) and Noel Marie Blackmire (TDOE).

Equipment Needed: Chair or mat

Description:  Join us for a 15-minute live virtual seated yoga class each week that is suitable for beginners and relaxing for all fitness levels.
